FSA SYSTEMS UPDATES FOR 2014-2015 PROCESSING

The Federal Student Aid systems are in the process of updating for 2014-2015 award year and by mid-April schools should be able to begin processing Pell disbursements through COD. However, the EDExpress release that will include the final components specific to the 150% Direct Subsidized Loan Limit, is not scheduled for release until June 2014. This means that you will not be able to originate and/or transmit 2014-2015 loan data to the COD system using EDExpress until this release is available.

In a March 5th Electronic Announcement posted to the IFAP website, FSA provides important information about the system, Web, and software modifications being made to reflect the 2014-2015 Federal Pell Grant payment and disbursement schedules, including changes that must be implemented to the Central Processing System (CPS), the ISIR Analysis Tool, the Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) System, and the EDExpress for Windows software.
