It is becoming more likely that there will be a government shutdown starting tomorrow, October 1, 2013. The House and Senate still can’t agree on a bill to fund the government, and time is running out. The Senate rejected House amendments to a short-term spending bill today, killing a provision that would delay President Obama’s health-care law and moving the U.S. government closer to a shutdown. The Department of Education posted preliminary guidance on the IFAP Web site on Friday stating there will be minimal impact to schools. Keep reading for more information.
